Grade 6's raise over $2000 at the Christmas Market

t was a perfect winter day for the Wakefield Christmas Market this past weekend. The Grade 6's were in full swing selling their home made baked goods as well as tickets for their Holiday Draw for two gift baskets.  The gift baskets were filled of gift certificates and items generously donated from our local businesses and members worth over an amazing $700 each.  For a full list of donations click here.  

After a full day, the names of the two lucky winners were drawn and we are thrilled that they are from our local community!  Lisa Hoskins won Basket #1 and Danielle Doré-Lévesque won Basket #2. Congratulations to Lisa and Danielle! 

For their efforts, the Grade 6's raised over $2000.00 which will go toward paying for their year end graduation activities and ceremony.  Along with funds raised from their Holiday Wreath sale, they have raised over $3500.00 in total funds to date, which takes them past the midway point in terms of meeting their fundraising goal.
